Perennial Stream

by Jörn

Perennial Stream is a portrayal of growth and decay. It is done on a single sheet of paper by Sonnye Lim.

Graphite marks are drawn, erased, then re-drawn, leaving behind a map of remains. A single, drawn line acts as a seed, which then propagates into larger forms, gathering to create a cyclic flow of movement and stillness within an abstracted ecosystem.
