Der Künstler Monfa wurde vor 28 Jahren als Miguel Cabrera in Costa Rica geboren. Er studierte Kunst und wurde zu einem redaktionellen Illustrator. Seine Arbeiten wurden auf verschiedenen Websites und in digitalen Magazinen veröffentlicht. Derzeit arbeitet er an vielen persönlichen Projekten und teilt seine Zeit zwischen seinem Job als Art Director für ein renommiertes mexikanisches redaktionelles Unternehmen und die Arbeit als freiberuflicher Illustrator.
