“I had been wanting to make a Ralph Bakshi-ish (well, a good bit of He-Man and Heavy Metal, too) rotoscoped fantasy animation, and this was the result of the project. It took about 6 months teaching myself as I went, and I think, while I didn’t even get close to the breadth of the 22-min script, that as a stylistic attempt it gets pretty close to what I was shooting for.” – Morgan King.
