Die hier abgebildeten Fotografien des französischen Künstlers Georges Rousse sind nicht etwa mit Photoshop oder anderen Programmen erstellt, sondern es handelt sich um aufwendige Installationen, die meist riesengroß aus Beton gefertigt in verlassenen Gebäuden entstanden sind. Was also zunächst wie eine langweilige Fotomanipulation wirkt, ist in Wirklichkeit eine optische Täuschung, eine illusionistische Technik, um dem Auge im zweidimensionalen Bild eine nicht vorhandene Räumlichkeit vorzutäuschen.
