INTRA: From A Black Hole To The Big-Bang

We don’t know yet what is inside a black hole, we know it is a singularity, a point where every rules of physics collapse.

One of the possibilities is called “The White Hole Theory”, a sort of exit from the black hole, a point where everything is born, including space and time. Some compare it to the Big Bang.

INTRA tells the visual story of this theory, a journey from the black to the white hole, a cosmic tale of death and birth…

NOVAE: An Aesthetic Vision Of A Supernova

Novae is a movie about an astronomical event that occurs during the last evolutionary stages of a massive star’s life, whose dramatic and catastrophic death is marked by one final titanic explosion called supernova.

By only using an aquarium, ink and water, this film is also an attempt to represent the giant with the small without any computed generated imagery.

As a tribute to Kubrick or Nolan’s filmography, Novae is a cosmic poem that want to introduce the viewer to the nebulae’s infinite beauty.

Elements: Art Film by Maxim Zhestkov

Elements is an experimental art film by Maxim Zhestkov about nature, physics, art and love.

More than 2 billion elements / particles governed by tensions and forces of nature were used to tell stories and show emotions through the motion of collective behavior.

The film is a trial to explore the idea that everything around us and inside us is made from simple elements / blocks which can be arranged in complex relationships and become compound structures. We could project this idea into emotions, behaviours, thought processes, relationships, life, planets and the universe.

Design / Animation / Sound by Maxim Zhestkov.

Visual Sounds Of The Amazon

The First Installment of “Visual Sounds of the Amazon”.

Last year Andy Thomas took his artwork to the next level by travelling to the Amazon rain forest to collect the sights and sounds of one of the worlds most amazing jungles, with the hope of spreading awareness about its plight.

“I see sounds as moving shapes and colours in my imagination. Bringing these to life is the challenging part. There are many countless hours drawing sketches and testing particle effects. Some of the results are more refined and closely match my imagination than others.”

Sounds recorded by Andy Thomas and Reynier Omena Junior in and around Presidente Figueiredo – State of Amazonas Brazil in 2016.
