GRAM Podcast Volume Twenty One – Volume 21 – Vicious Circle with MC Codebreaker.
“After the mammoth megacast it is no mean feat following the combination of Octane, DLR, Optiv, Mutated Forms and the Upbeats! But here at GRAM we found just the duo to take care of it, they go under the name of Vicious Circle and have been killing the deep and dark circuit for many years now with releases on the likes of Renegade Hardware, Ram, Critical, Quarantine, Commercial Suicide, Metalheadz and more – pretty much a whose who of dnb labels. Recently signing exclusively to GRAM the refined moniker have been working hard in the studio and have some dangerous tracks coming very soon, some of which feature in this podcast. With tracks featuring too upfront to mention there is no track listing, just be sure that it is deadly! Complementing the mix is MC Codebreaker; a hugely talented MC who had a very successful 2011, with this year looking even more promising; laying vocals down in the studio for the likes of VC, Code 3, Ulterior Motive and more.”

“Singular bass music and beyond.
Boards of Canada, dBridge, Autechre, Metalheadz: this snapshot of Synkro‘s influences makes total sense, yet somehow doesn’t come too close to putting actual descriptors on his music. The Manchester producer—real name Joe McBride—has pushed a sort of complex yet emotive 2-step/dubstep/drum & bass fusion since debuting back in 2007, and has been pretty damn prolific in the process. We’ve had his woozy steppers for Smoking Sessions; some of the prettiest ‘drum & bass’ you’re likely to hear for Exit; and even a spot of deep house for Millions of Moments. And there’s been countless different others in between.
On RA.297 he employs a good old-fashioned plot twist to reel you in (we obviously won’t ruin the surprise) and then proceeds to explore the entirety of his far-reaching sound world.”

“The idea behind the Auxiliary podcast is to first and foremost showcase music that I’m into. Obviously, having a label gives me a platform to make my music accessible for the consumer, but the podcast acts as a further insight into what makes Auxiliary what it is. No track listing will be provided and the podcast will be presented as a 320kbps download…” – ASC.
