This is Daniil Vavilov aka Bulb with long-awaited potion of carefully selected music.”
“Damon Kirkham likes an alias, that much is clear. Formerly one half of Instra:mental (along with Al ‘Boddika’ Green), he operated as Kid Drama , before employing the Jon Convex moniker around the time the duo split around 2011. Details of the split remain sparse to this day, but what is apparent is that the sepration hasn’t stopped the flow of quality music being released by Kirkham. Always operating with a sonic pallete that took note from, but didn’t exclusively sitck to, Drum n Bass, he’s now focusing on his output as Kid Drama, teaming up with former Autonomic collaborator d-Bridge as Heart Drive for a series of podcasts and some new material. With the podcasts focusing on a glitchy half-step and synth heavy electronica, it would appear Heart Drive is a new exciting chapter in Kirkham’s perennially forward facing musical career.
Tracklist free, Hyp 165 takes in all facets of Kirkham’s career, travelling from his Autonomic days to the present day revival of Kid Drama. Jungle, Footwork, Half-Step and DnB all fit in seamlessly as Kirkham keeps the quality throughout for an hour’s worth of music that refuses to sit still for a single second.”

Spanning multiple genres, creative, unique, meticulously crafted and above all epic, todos spends months at a time putting these journeys together. Upon listening you’ll hear the blood, sweat and tears that have gone into each one.
He is a pioneer of todays shift to digital mixing, but he doesn’t use it for lack of laziness. Amongst the 47+ channels of audio and midi lie a multitude of custom samples, tempo blends and effects – something of a trademark since todos’ very first Kilchurn Session.
“Five years have passed since I completed the first Kilchurn Session mix. A mix inspired by my partner, and our Winter’s walk at Loch Awe in Scotland; a place of outstanding landscape and beauty. The challenge for me was to create a mix using tracks with extreme differences in tempo, something I would not have been able to do using a set of 1210′s and mixer.
It would comprise of a collection of personal favourite tracks, old and new, laced with soundscapes, samples and spoken word, yet not following a set genre throughout. What was supposed to be a one off, gained surprising feedback and support from Nick Warren and ASIP which catapulted it into places I never thought it would reach. The demand for another soon followed and now, 5 years on, it is with great pleasure I can bring you the tenth instalment as an Isolatedmix, and a first that incorporates original compositions by Devoted Enemies, in which I am involved” – todos.

“Slime returns with the seventh installment in its mix series, this time from new recruit Semiotics. His debut EP for the label ‘Moda’ was an inventive and unique take on electronica that Juno described as “deep, delicious and soulful” and racked up past 60,000 plays on Soundcloud.
For this mix his eclectic style is infused throughout its 18 tracks, ranging from house, dubstep and electronica with a liberal sprinkling of Slime classics new and old.”
